Bio:
A fight instructor with FDC, Casey truly loves to perform, instruct, direct and choreograph violence. Trained as an actor at the University College Drama Program, at U of T, Casey continues to pursue acting as well as augment her fight pallet with gymnastics and kung-fu classes. Most recently Casey played Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet” with Tempest Theatre, and is currently playing Antonio in “Twelfth Night” with Urban Bard Theatre.
This past year Casey was part of the Fight Direction team at the Stratford Theatre Festival, and is the first female to be credited for Fight Direction at the festival. Casey is also a member of Riot A.C.T. An Award Winning Action Creation Team, who’s film Wanted just won Casey the award for Female Action Performer of the Year at this past International Action on Film Festival.
Casey is a member of the Hardcore Nerdity squad and the creator and co-host of a segment called “Kick Ass Corner” which, with the help of Riot A.C.T., breaks down movie violence. Check it out at www.HardcoreNerdity.com!
