Basic Level Single Sword and Quarterstaff term

Definition

Two imaginary lines that bisect the body into equal halves, both vertical or horiontal.

Explanation

(Intermediate) The centre of the body encompassing some of the more vulnerable parts, including the nose, chin, throat, solar plexus and groin. The centre line is the nucleus on which the defenses and attacks of Wing Chun are based.
